Augustine Okosun is a college basketball center.
Born in 1986 in Benin City, Nigeria, Okosun was a soccer player, which he played in spite of his height (six foot ten inches) and size (he weighs 238 pounds). He arrived in the United States in 2003 and soon was tapped to join his school's basketball team. At Georgetown College, an NAIA school in Kentucky, he averaged 2.4 points and 2.7 rebounds over 27 games.
On August 3, 2006, it was announced that Okosun would play for Harcum College, Bryn Mawr PA for the 2006-2007 season, before switching to perennial college basketball powerhouse Seton Hall University the year after that.
