August von Trott zu Solz

August Bodo Wilhelm Clemens Paul von Trott zu Solz (December 29, 1855—October 27, 1938) was a German politician.
Born Hesse-Kassel into an aristocratic family, he became Prussian Secretary of Cultural Affairs from 1909 to 1917, playing a leading role in the founding of the Kaiser Wilhelm Institute.
He was the father of Adam von Trott zu Solz.
He died in Nassau, Germany.
