Audio Disturbances
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Audio Disturbances were a critically acclaimed, Miami-based rock band from the late 1980s until the mid-1990s. The original members were Brian Hampton (guitar, bass), Kurt Schweizer (drums, guitar, vocals), Lazaro Lazo (bass, guitar, keyboards, percussion) and Eric Alexandrakis (lead vocals and keyboards). Other members over the years included: Carlos Lopez-Lira (guitar), Geoff Ashton (vocals) and Bill Duncan (guitar). While failing to ever sign a major-label deal, they did receive tremendous support from college radio for their indie releases. They were once named "second most popular band in Florida" by University of Miami radio station WVUM. They co-headlined the First Annual Miami Rock Festival, in 1995, along with such notables as Matchbox Twenty, Jennifer Culture and Nuclear Valdez.
