Atsuya Furuta

Atsuya Furuta (古田敦也, b. August 6, 1965 in Kawanishi, Hyogo, Japan) is the catcher for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows professional baseball club in the Central League. He became the player-manager of Tokyo Yakult Swallows in 2006.
