Don't worry, I don't think you're a jerk, I read the history even before I left those notices. I was just applying the kind of naivety that I think ought to be used when dealing with new users. We don't want to scare anyone away, even if their first edits are dodgy. Same principle as why we give vandals that "test" template. Keep up the good work --Mike C | talk 20:01, 12 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Nah, it's just the normal todays featured article vandalism going on. Happens all the time. If someone is vandalising it alot you can report them on Wikipedia:vandalism in progress, but usually they're just newbies testing things out, and just reverting it is enough. Thanks. I decided that that article was a Wikipedia:Candidate for speedy deletion. However, you actually used the wrong process to vfd it- you added the argument on the deletion page for the previously listed article Liejournal, when you should have created a new page. Thanks for uploading Image:Berryman.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images on Wikipedia is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.
