Atomik Harmonik is a music group from Slovenia. Their debut single "Brizgalna Brizga" managed to stay at #1 in the Slovenian charts for several months. Their other hits include "Hop Marinka", "Na seniku", "Od hr'ma do hr'ma", and their European hit "Turbo Polka" which hit the charts in Germany and Austria, bringing the group fame across Europe.
Their music is a fusion of Slovenian folk rhythms and lyrics, combined with a Serbian-influenced rhythm that gives them a special sound. They are extremely popular in rural Slovenia.
Fame of the group is largely credited to the looks of the two singers - as well-endowned girls in peasant clothes evoke fond images of fornication in the hay to most of the male population of Germany and Austria.
