Atomic Chili
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Atomic Chili: The Illustrated Joe R. Lansdale (Mojo Press, 1996 edited Richard Klaw) is a collection of stories previously written by Joe R. Lansdale and adapted into comic book form by assorted artists and writers.
Nearly all of this work was previously available. The Dead in the West adaptation is the same as that printed by Dark Horse Comics. "By Bizarre Hands", "Night They Missed the Horror Show", and "Tight Little Stitches" were previously published as the 3-issue Dark Horse By Bizarre Hands mini-series. "Trains Not Taken" (The Wild West Show), "Steel Valentine" (Weird Business), and "The Grease Trap" (Creature Features) were previously published by Mojo Press. "Pilots" and "The Job" are new for this collection. Note that "The Grease Trap" was never printed as a text story and was originally published as a comic book story.
