[edit] Plot
Drew has a bit of a problem when he accidentally promises Lisa and Kate the job as head personal shopper to both of them. His problem only becomes more troublesome when Mimi claims she wants the job also and is supported by Mr. Bell. Drew decides that he will observe how well Lisa, Kate and Mimi shop for three of Winfred-Louder's most difficult customers. He insists that he will judge all three of them only on their performance, and hopes that his decision will not affect his relationships with Kate and Lisa. Lisa goes first and does very well with her customer, even fending off the customer's attempts to hit on her. Kate finally gets her indecisive client to make up her mind about purchasing socks by taking her out of view of the security cameras that Drew is watching and threatening the customer with violence. Mimi quickly removes herself from the competition by punching out her customer, a woman who wants to dress like a preteen. Drew decides on the ultimate test to choose between Lisa and Kate: they must each choose an outfit for Mimi. Kate makes Mimi look professionally dressed, but Mimi is embarrassed by the conservative outfit. Lisa dresses Mimi in an outrageous ensemble comprised of a model of the solar system that Mimi enjoys. Drew awards the job to Lisa for being more in touch with the customer's wishes. Drew then has to comfort Kate, who insists that there are no hard feelings. Now that Lisa is in a management position, Lisa and Drew are now able to date openly. At the conclusion of the show, Oswald hits on a female customer who turns out to be a man.

[edit] Quotes
Kate: We're not going to fight for a job.
Lewis: What if we provide a cage?
Drew: If Kate gets the job, then it's not because she's the best friend a guy could ever have. And if Lisa gets the job, then it's not because that's the only chance we have of dating. But if Mimi gets the job, I want you to kill me and find the microchip. I'd rather be dead than serve those stinking aliens!
Lisa: (talking about Mimi) I couldn't get her to take off her make-up...
Drew: I heard they tried once, and there was a whole other painting underneath it.
