Asymmetric cut

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An asymmetric cut is a haircut in which the hair is cut in such a way that the hair does not have left-right symmetry and one side is cut or appears to be longer than the other.

Talk show host Rosie O'Donnell famously adopted a short and somewhat severe version of the asymmetric cut in 2002 after she came out of the closet. Other celebrities who have sported asymmetric hairstyles include singers Cyndi Lauper and Phil Oakey. Davey Havok of AFI is noted for his asymmetric cut.
