Asylum Press (Comic Book Publishing Company) Asylum Press is an independent comic book publisher based in Hollywood, CA. It was founded in 1999 by artist Frank Forte and writer Mike Bliss. Its small annual output and high-end production values have made it a fan favorite of horror comics. Asylum Press is known primarily a publisher of graphic novels and comic books, beginning with 1999'sHex of the Wicked Witch, and continuing with books like The Vampire Verses, Billy Boy The Sick Little Fat Kid and The Cletus and Floyd Show. This output includes themed horror anthologies: Satan's Powder Room, Chicken Soup for satan, Satan Gone Wild, and Satan's 3-Ring Circus of Hell. Asylum Press' forthcoming titles include: Warlash:Zombie Mutant Genesis, Naked Are The Nude (The Jim Smith Sketchbook 3), and Undead Evil.
