ASU Downtown Phoenix

Arizona State University at the Downtown Phoenix campus in Phoenix, Arizona will be open for classes as of August 2006. The campus will include the College of Public Programs (copp.asu.edu), the College of Nursing (nursing.asu.edu) and University College (universitycollege.asu.edu). It is the future site of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication (cronkite.asu.edu) and the headquarters of Phoenix's PBS affiliate: Eight, Arizona PBS / KAET (http://azpbs.org).

It is located in downtown Phoenix in the Van Buren Street and 1st Avenue, Fillmore Street and 7th Street block. The buildings that makeup the Downtown Phoenix campus are the University Center, Residential Commons, Nursing and Healthcare Innovations, PURL, the Mercado, a US Post Office. Downtown Phoenix campus is one of three other ASU campuses: ASU East, ASU West, and ASU Main. ASU Downtown Phoenix campus is also referred to as ASU Extended Campus, Center campus, and ASU Downtown Center.
