A diagram showing proper orbital elements (inclination ip vs. semi-major axis ap ) for numbered asteroids in the main belt.

Clumps indicate the location of asteroid families, empty vertical regions at constant a are Kirkwood gaps.

This diagram was created by me (Piotr Deuar) using data for 96944 minor planets, which was obtained from the AstDys site. Data was dated March 2005, calculation was by Z. Knezevic and A. Milani.
