Asriel86, aka Aaron Dunlap, aka me is an online journalist. I write for the online gaming website Gaming Horizon.
I was born March 17th, 1986 in Pontiac, Michigan. I attended a private school, Springfield Christian Academy, through elementary and Oakland Christian School through junior high. Not satisfied with the limited educational facilities of most private Christian schools, I transferred to Clarkston High School, a public school, in Clarkston, Michigan. There, I took special interest in writing and computer science classes.
I currently attend the University of Michigan in Flint, Michigan, and am majoring in English with a minor in Computer Science.

[edit] Gaming Horizon
In 2002, I applied for and received a position at the volunteer-staffed Gaming Horizon. I've written several reviews, all archived at [1] and some editorial features, including:
- Phantom: Rewound, detailing the history of Infinium Lab's Phantom game system.
- Take My Life...Seriously, an editorial taking a look at gamer stereotypes in the media.
- God Mode, an editorial regarding games that are overly complicated or difficult.
- E3, I Knew Thee Well, dealing with the decline of luster in E3.
The day before the 2004 Electronic Entertainment Expo, I published the first-ever-seen (I swear) photographs of the controversial "Phantom" game system here. The next day, once the E3 expo began, I wrote another popular article with further Phantom features and a hands-on report.
[edit] Blog
I made my own website once I started at Gaming Horizon to act as a portfolio of my writing. In mid-2004, I transformed the site into my own blog. There, I usualy post updates about his daily life as well as essays or any type of content I feel like. My website still acts as a portfolio of my writing, as well as some amature photography.

[edit] Wiki Contributions
A few samples from my wiki career: New pages:
- The Phantom (game system) - Created article stub, then completely overhauled into full article
- Sideload - A techy word that I felt deserved to be canonized
- Template:Metal Gear Character - A wikitemplate for use in Metal Gear game character bio pages. I think it's pretty.
Significant revision:
- Big Boss - I took it from a stub and made a full article of it. It gets vandalized a lot with false information from misguided game fans, so I have to keep a sharp eye on it. See "Name Debate".
- Category: Journalists - I went through the entire category and fixed all referring articles with misreferenced names (i.e. John Doe instead of Doe, John -- So he would be listed under D instead of J)
Misc Stuff:
- Naked Snake - Redirected to Big Boss
- The boss - Redirecting to Bruce Springsteen is a bit zealous, methinks. I added a disambig page and made a link to the Metal Gear character
- Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand - Was the first Wikipedia page I ever edited (years back, did it as anonymous). Lately, I realigned the images to look less stupid
