The Asolo Theatre Company, located in Sarasota, FL at the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, is a rotating repertory theatre. Rotating repertory theatres run several productions of different shows on alternating days during the same time period. The Company produces an average of eight to ten shows each season. As of the 2006-2007 season, the Asolo Theatre Company will be headed by Michael Edwards as Producing Artistic Director. Affiliated with the Asolo Theatre Company is the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training, also located within the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. The Conservatory is a graduate program for theatre majors, whose second-year students perform a season of five shows in the Jane B. Cook Theatre.
