Asmund Kristoffersen

Asmund Kristoffersen (born November 5, 1944 in Flakstad, Nordland) is a Norwegian politician for the Norwegian Labour Party.
He was elected into the Norwegian parliament (Storting) from the county of Møre og Romsdal in 1993, since then being re-elected in 1997, 2001 and the 2005 elections. Since 2001 he has been a member of the Norwegian parliaments delegation to the Nordic Council.
He currently lives in the county of Tingvoll. Beforing doing politics full time, he spent several years in the Norwegian education system. First as a teacher, later as a principal at two different schools before become the head of the school administration in the county of Tingvoll.
