Askøy Bridge

Askøy Bridge (Askøybrua) is a suspension bridge from the mainland near the city of Bergen to Askøy in Hordaland county in Norway. It has the longest span in Norway, although it is not the longest suspension bridge in Norway. The bridge is 1057 metres long, the main span is 850 metres, and the clearance to the sea is 62 metres. The bridge has 7 spans.
Askøy bridge was opened in December 1992. It was a toll bridge until 18th November 2006.
