Asian Power is a group formed by Asian Americans during the 1960s, and became one of the biggest national catchphrases of all time. The movement is relatively new political slogan for self-determination, prosperity and independence of the Asian American population and culture to reach new prosperity in means of economy and society in the world place. It is similar to Pan-Asianism in terms of finding common ground and idea to lead Asian nations to common goal, but differ in terms of recognizing each others independence and culture based traditions. The development of Asia, particularly China and India is cited as one of the practicalities.
