[edit] Ashley Bowes
Ashley Christian Lawrence Bowes (born 11 October 1986) is UK Youth Prime Minister, elected in March 2004 by the Citizenship Foundation. Mr. Bowes works tirelessly for the rights of the individual, living by the mantra, "you shall never side with the mighty against the powerless". Mr. Bowes treats every human on the basis of their individual merits and this altruistic philosophy may go some way to explaining the wealth of awards he has amassed. In government Mr. Bowes has perused a broadly right-of-centre philosophy. Although a member of the Conservative Party, he is strictly a 'one nation' believer, choosing to build a country of equal opportunity and economic stability.
Although the role is predominantly ceremonial, Mr. Bowes is committed to using his influence for the boarder good, acting as an ambassador for a number of youth organisations throughout the United Kingdom.
