Ashur-nadin-apli

Ashur-nadin-apli or Aššur-nadīn-apli, is an Assyrian personal name meaning “the god Ashur has given a son” in the Akkadian language.

An Assyrian king called Ashur-nadin-apli ruled for three or four years in 1196-1193 BC. He was the son of the mighty king Tukulti-Ninurta I. Assyria lost much of its power during his reign.
