Ashton Keynes

Ashton Keynes is a village and civil parish in the North Wiltshire district of Wiltshire, England, near the border with Gloucestershire, and about 6 miles south of Cirencester. According to the 2001 census the parish had a population of 1,420. The village is near the Cotswold Water Park and the River Thames. In the late 1980's a large romano-british settlement was excavated on the edge of the village, in advance of extensive gravel extraction. Jack Humphreys also lives there.

Nearby villages are Somerford Keynes, South Cerney and Cricklade.
