Ashstone

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ashstone is a kind of volcanic rock formed from fine volcanic ash. A volcanic eruption of acid lava can result in every last particle of the erupted lava being blown apart into fine particles. The material is called volcanic ash, consisting of sand-sized or smaller particles. These particles are small, slaggy piece of lava that have been tossed into the air by outbursts of steam and other gases.

When settled on the ground this volcanic ash can be consolidated into Ashstone.
