Ashley Sampi (born January 12, 1983) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the West Coast Eagles. Debuting in 2002, Sampi is a small forward who is renowned for taking Mark of the Year in 2004 against Melbourne. After an indifferent season, in the 2005 Qualifying Final against Sydney, he kicked the winning goal. He was charged with assault in 2006. Sampi didn't perform as well as he has done in the past in the 2006 season, but he has vowed to try harder in the 2007 AFL season.[1]
