Ashley Brown

Ashley Brown (born February 3, 1982 in Gulf Breeze, Florida) is an actress currently starring as the title character in the new Broadway production of Mary Poppins. The show started October 14, 2006 and officially began November 16, 2006. She made her Broadway debut in September of 2005 as the lead character, Belle, in the Walt Disney Theatrical-produced production of Beauty and the Beast.
Ashley initially caught the attention of casting director Tara Rubin not long after graduating from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. After a successful audition, she was brought on to the Disney touring project On the Record and eventually attained the role of Belle in Beauty and the Beast.
