Ashin Chen Hsin Hung

Ashin Chen Hsin Hung (born December 6, 1975, Taipei, Taiwan) is the lead singer of Taiwanese Rock Band Mayday.

Ashin was not outstanding student, however, his artistic talent was exceptional. He was a student in his highschool's visual art class and at the mean time became interested in music after joining the guitar society, where he met three other Mayday members: Monster, Masa and Stone. During this time, he began to compose his own music. The first song he composed was "Hao Ju Hao San", which was published in Richie Jen's 2001 album "Fei Niao."

Mayday has a following all over the world. They have held concerts in Taiwan, Singapore, USA, Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, China. Their reported aim is to be the Beatles of Asia.
