Ashfield railway station is a station located on the Inner West line of the CityRail network. It is located in the Sydney suburb of Ashfield and was opened in 1855 as part of the original Sydney to Parramatta railway line. It features five platforms (two city bound, two outward bound, and one used as a turnback to the city).

The station has Easy Access facilities.

The station can be accessed via Brown Street (at the Hercules Street intersection) or via Station Street.

There is semi-secure cycle parking provided with racks available on both the northern and southern sides of the station. There is access to a number of cycle friendly routes to both the harbour and the city and to the south and west.
