Ashes is the fourth full-length album by Norwegian gothic metal band Tristania. The album was released on January 24, 2005 and registers a change in the band's musical style, leaving out the choirs, pure operatic vocals of Vibeke Stene, and sounding heavier, both in instrumental and lyrical terms.
This album also introduced Kjetil Ingebrethsen for the growls.
