Asher Tarivona Mutsengi born in Plumtree in the South west border of Zimbabwe and Botswana in 1983, is a former student leader in Zimbabwe. He was also the Local Director for the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences(IAAS) then one of the world's largest student organizations and the leading agricultural student association. Asher Tarivona Mutsengi was a frequent commentator on human rights, and political affairs. Mutsengi was educated at Solusi University and the University of Texas at Austin. He has written extensively on human rights, democracy, gender and the empowerment of the youth and Students. He lives in North America.
