Asher Benrubi, known by the on-air name of Smash, is the co-host of Allman and Smash in the morning, on 97.1 FM Talk, KFTK in St. Louis, MO. Benrubi takes part in many activites in and around the St. Louis area. He does many charitable activites, and is the leader of the Smash Band.

Benrubi was formerly on the air in the 1970's and 1980's in Indianapolis as Adam Smasher, but after the arrival of Bob and Tom on a competing station in 1983, his station lost market share.
