Ash Sharqiyah (Arabic: المحافظة الشرقيّة‎ al-Muḥāfaẓä aš-Šarqiyyä, Eastern Governorate) is one of the governorates of Egypt. It is in the north of the country. Its capital is Az Zaqaziq.
