This article is so good in its current state that it really shouldn't be NPOVed ;) -- Fredrik | talk 20:57, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Wierd - I think the history just completely deleted a revision... Evercat 21:03, 2 Jul 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Who put "QWERTZ"
The first line shows both "QWERTY" and "QWERTZ". Was that a mistake, or on purpose? I don't want to edit it if I'm missing something.

- The QWERTZ keyboard is used in Germany, and simply swaps the Y and Z keys, see QWERTY for more information. – ABCD 18:31, 22 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- It seems like there might be value in adding an automagically included FAQ section to talk pages to the MediaWiki software. Something to let things that arise and resolve quickly live alongside discussions instead of falling off the edge of the wiki over time. An "OK, question's answered. Let's save the later souls from needing to ask it and answer it again" kinda thing. They're doing it, manually I think, on the phrasing for the homepage tag line, after a fashion. Each wordbit is broken out and access to the main discourse on them presented. Seems like that kinda thing could live happily in the gutter of each article/discussion, or perhaps better said seems like making it easy for that kinda thing to gather itseslf might be worthwhile. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.6.22.123 (talk • contribs) 01:28, 30 January 2005 (UTC2)
[edit] Second graf
This strikes me as a by-sysadmin-for-sysadmin--doesn't-belong-as-is-here bit: "It is a general practice for system administrators to run a password check on their users, if it is possible, for any users that use personal passwords. It is a very good idea to at least run a password check (to make sure they aren't easily cracked) for any user who has access to critical systems or has special admin privileges."
Even if that information deserves specific note on this page, that bit, that amount of space taken that prominently? Shorten to a couple of words that can be included in a sentence that does fit there and make those words a link to either a different page or more likely to somewhere further down the page?
Has this been VFD'd yet?

[edit] Scrabble ref?
"'asdf' is worth 8 points in Scrabble." Pfft. 'asdf' is not in the Scrabble dictionary as of 4th edition (TWL06, USA dictionary). Plus, something so trivial shouldn't even be added. At all. I deleted it. 68.231.62.45 18:31, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why redirected from MBM5?
I'm just curios as to why MBM5 redirects here
