Ascot Vale is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Local Government Area is the City of Moonee Valley.

Ascot Vale railway station is located on Station St, Ascot Vale. It is part of the Broadmeadows line of the Melbourne suburban rail system. Trains take 10 minutes to get to the City Loop from Ascot Vale.
Tram route 57 runs along Epsom Road, Union Road and Maribyrnong Road, route 59 runs along Mount Alexander Road, and route 82 runs along Maribyrnong Road.

Ascot Vale was founded as a dry suburb, but hotels were soon built at the outside corners of the settlement. It is currently the first point of call for all packages imported to Victoria by UPS.
