ASBO Teen to Beauty Queen is a new reality television programme for Five [1]. The series premiered on Wednesday 15 November 2006 at 8pm and will run for 6 weeks in a series of 1 hour episodes. The series is produced by North One Television.

The series follows a group of nine teenagers from Manchester, who are trained by a former American beauty queen, Michelle Fryatt, to compete in the Miss Teen International 2006 beauty pageant in Chicago. Each week the girls face a series of tasks designed to prepare them to compete in the pageant and at the end of each episode, girls are eliminated from the competition. The final three girls get the chance to fly to Chicago where one is selected as the first Miss Teen England International and enters the pageant.

The nine participants as listed in the Daily Star newspaper on Wednesday 1 November 2006 are Ashlie Robinson, Elena Demetri, Ellen Murphy, Kerry Turner, Laura Wilde, Neisha Berryman, Pavia Ward, Rachel Stewart and Sarah Snabities.

Michelle meets the nine young ladies and soon realises that she has her work cut out for her.

Episode 2 (first shown on Wednesday 22nd November 2006):
The girls embark on week two of the challenge and Michelle is starting to worry that the remaining eight contestants will not make it to week three. Having schooled the girls in the act of how to look like a beauty queen, she now has to teach them how to think like one.

Episode 3 (first shown on Wednesday 29th November 2006):
Attempting to recreate the pageant environment, Michelle brings all the girls to London to live in a house together.

Episode 4 (first shown on Wednesday 6th December 2006):
The girls have a week to prepare for a pageant in their home city. Choreographer Bruno Tonioli helps them with their dance routine.

Episode 5 (first shown on Wednesday 13th December 2006):
The three remaining contestants face a series of tough challenges before heading to Chicago to learn which of them will be leaving the competition.

Episode 6 (first shown on Wednesday 20th December 2006):
One of the girls is crowned Miss Teen England International and competes in the Miss Teen International beauty pageant in the US.
