As Good as Dead is an album by the band Local H. It was released in 1996 on Island Records. The most notable single from the album was the hit "Bound for the Floor". Also of note was "Eddie Vedder", which made some listeners wonder if the band had something against Pearl Jam's vocalist of the same name (due to its chorus's line, "If I was Eddie Vedder/ would you like me any better?").
