KEEP - Spangel is a legitimate term used to name a specific relationship between two ficional characters within a popular fandom. There are numerous web sites and lj's dedicated to the fan fiction written exclusively about the intimate relationship between vampires Spike and Angel. This relationship has been referenced by the creator of the characters, Joss Whedon, in both print interviews and "Angel" season 5 DVD commentaries, as well as writers and co-producers of the show.
