Man, you go to work for the day and look what happens. I am going to try to fix the mess.
- Remove "sockpuppet" warning by non-admin.
- Move long comment into chronological order
- Move actual admin warning to TOP so everyone can see it and it don't get lost.
If I make a mistake, it is unintentional, so please don't Wikilawyer me to death, okay? -999 23:01, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sockpuppet process
I'm moving this comment here because it doesn't belong in the voting. Also, it is not the correct process for dealing with potential sockpuppeting. Here is the comment:
- Comment: FYI - here's the sockpuppeting proof from dan's talk page: "[1], and here's the one in process [2]. If you could please add it to the AfD page - it would be greatly appreciated since I am incapacitated at the moment. (See previous talk entry) Hamsacharya dan 22:35, 3 April 2006 (UTC)"
Now for the correct process. Sockpuppet complaints should be filed after the voting has completed only if you think the outcome of the count would have been different. This is documented on the WP:RFCU page (policy #8). Now, I see you already have a request there, but as it doesn't include a valid reason as required, I'm surprised it hasn't been declined. Once the vote is over, all you have to do is add the reason (if this vote would have given a different outcome) and you request will probably be processed.
Again, I've moved this comment here in good faith, so don't wikilawyer me about it. If you are an admin and think it should be put back, just go ahead and do so. Thanks!
