- Thank you for your research, Mangojuice (I don't mean that in any sort of sarcastic way - I think you've done valuable work to establish a "Wikipedia drinking game precedent").
- Here are the games that were listed for deletion in early May 2006 (I believe this is the "concerted effort" mentioned in the AfD page). Of the 37 games which were listed (they were all individually listed following the "Circle of Death" discussion), there were 32 Kept, 4 Deleted and 1 relisted. If you click through them, I suspect you would deem many of them less notable than Rage Cage. Again, this is not to validate or invalidate any of the articles, just to review precedent - in May 2006 it was set pretty low :)

- Yes, I noticed that one too; however, THIS is where the real deal is. It seems every one of those games was individually relisted. I've updated your list to include the links. Let me interpret this a little more closely, though. That huge list of games was nominated all at once, and some users felt this was in bad form. You may notice that certain users voted keep in virtually every debate: GWO, Badlydrawnjeff, for instance. The latter was good about trying to find sources when possible, but he gets lazy in some cases. For instance, here, he says the game is "likely" mentioned, and can't back it up... I don't blame the guy though, effectively those nominations required a BUTTLOAD of research from him (he was the only one who seemed to be really looking). I know how that feels! I think that whole batch of AfDs got ruined because of the quantity... although, not all of them. For instance, the Drinking fives nom is interesting: there, Jeff's "likely mentioned" argument doesn't get traction, and one of the voters disliking the mass-nomination changed his vote to delete. I notice Blates was deleted out of process (hmm). Mangojuicetalk 01:01, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
