"Mechanized Death deletion J.Woodford: Deleting Mechanized Death from the Wikipedia would be a loss. The entry could be edited down (the james Dean reference is unnecessary). But there was a time and place where this band was important. So much of the Punk movement that I experienced is being lost to history. There are many books and documentaries about the early punk scenes in England and New York, and from most of those one gets the impression that Punk died out after the Sex Pistols and the New York Dolls broke up (but the Ramones soldiered on regardless). For someone who came of age in the mid to late 80's, I can tell you it was very much alive. New Jersey Hardcore was as vital and important a local scene as any around the world, and MD were a contributing part of it. Please don't let this history just vanish. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.197.90.29 (talk • contribs) 01:34, 25 July 2006."
