Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Gulfside United Methodist Assembly
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have been busy working on the revitalization of another Historic place. The reason I submitted the Gulfside material is my concern that often when assigning research to students, so much of African American history is not on the web. What can be found are the few "Acceptable" places and people. so much is missing. I do not want to give the wrong impression here but, I wonder if the first reaction to the Gulfside article might not come from the fact that what is considered notable for African American history is seldom decided by African Americans? I hope that with the help of you wonderful folks I can add some other people and places. This site is on my assigned research materials for students. They like the idea of "just folks" being able to add to and share knowledge and information.I am not a writer and I do get emotional about things, so please forgive me and let me know what I need to do to clean-up my articles.
Thanks,
