I dont think this should be deleted. I was looking for such a script and finally got it here. Wikipedia is not freshmeat, but this Gotmail deletion serves no useful purpose while if it remains it will certainly help others.

--unixgold For those of us who comment here, please put information on who edited it right in the body of this discussion with two dashes and three tildes. It helps to keep things simpler.

My argument for the non-deletion of this article is; this article is like many others that discuss software in general. Similar to the article on Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X and Linux Kernel / GNU entries where a near-complete listing is made of their history, status and external listing to several other websites. That's all I really had to say about that. //END

FWIW: If you search on freshmeat for "Hotmail", Gotmail is the first hit returned. I appreciate your point, but Wikipedia has requirements based on notability, not usefulness. Gotmail is very useful. It's not even slightly notable. -- GWO
