The Elvis Sighting Society is a legit charitable organization that has operated for some time here in Ottawa out of the Newport Restaurant. Monies are raised for different charities. Former President Clinton even stopped by the restaurant when he was in Ottawa during his adminstration. Founders of that org include the restaurant owner and Sun columnist Earl McRae.
