Do I need to have an account to vote? 70.144.20.226 20:49, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
- Technically you can vote without an account, but your vote will not be counted - even if you were to sign up for an account right now, your vote would be discounted due to lack of verifiable experience with Wikipedia. If you would like to present an argument to persuade voters one way or another, you may do so, but individual editors may not give it much consideration. That being said, working on Wikipedia is fun, so you should get an account, work on some articles/projects, get a sense of how things work here, and then your AfD votes will be accorded their appropriate weight.
