- Speedy Keep IOL is the oldest hospital in Connecticut, and the third oldest psych hospital in the US. A lot of important treatment methods were developed there over the years. In the 30s and 40s it became famous as a place where movie stars and other celebrities would go when they had their breakdowns. It remains one of the premier mental health centers in the US with a number of significant research programs. GabrielF 13:00, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
