• Comment Yes, I bothered to try and check it out. It fails the google test miserably (564 hits) and artist isn't even listed on allmusic guide. --Mecanismo | Talk 12:44, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

• Since you seem hell-bent on trying to prove that you did not research this, fine. There is no AMG entry because Montana was not a musician. He was a folk artist, cultural icon, integral part of New Orleans culture and traditions. He was celebrated and received grants. -- JJay 18:30, 15 December 2005 (UTC)

• Merge to Mardi Gras Indians. Montana had local notability - enough for a reference, but not necessarily his own page. If kept, it needs to be wikified and marked as a stub. -- JLaTondre 00:36, 16 December 2005 (UTC)
