Articles written by someone about him- or herself or by someone similarly close to subject matter are referred to as vanity pages. Vanity pages present a number of problems, not the smallest of which is that it is very hard to remain neutral when writing about yourself. To this end, vanity pages are not being accepted on "Articles for creation" at this time.
