The last book of the trilogy by Christopher Paolini will be published in 2008 and has the name "EMPIRE". At the present time the 2nd book of the trilogy "ELDEST" is one of the top five best seller books globaly. As a reader of the trilogy i would like to make a comment for the quality of the trilogy up to now. I believe that is one of the most interesting author creations ever made, because takes your imagination in a different dimension, into a magical new world. Both books "ERAGON" & "ELDEST" are well written,and the context appears to be very interesting,up to the point to anticipate for more "Paolinian" action to the next book.

   Mortal Kombat Armagedon is the "beggining of the end" (Of the mortal kombat storyline).  

It contains every character from all of the previos mortal kombat's of the series. Well that is what has be claimed but they forgot one of the characters that I know of, Khameleon (the female version of chameleon). Armagedon was created to bring a finish to the series so they could start with a whole new storyline in the next generation of game consoles. Armagedon adds on new features such as Kreate-a-Fighter, Intense online play, and Kreate your own faitality, in which every fighter has access to the same fatality moves, but depending on the input, creates a different fatality. Every character in previous games makes a return in this game, with favorites such as Scorpion and Sub-zero as well as relatively unknown such as Meat. The game also contains Utltimate Mortal Kombat 3.

Have you ever wondered about something that you see occasionally but really don't think about until a little light bulb goes off in your head? Well, this is a article about just such a subject. That is why I am here at Wikipedia! I like to do research with books and I come across a lot of books with all sorts of beautiful covers and nice colorful pictures. This is especially so with Children's Books. There is a lot of mystery to be found within the depths of a book and usually I can dig up something about a book, especially the author and the book's history. But it is a different story trying to find a out the history of a publisher.

To give you an example I will tell you about looking for a certain book I have. It is a Hans Brinker Or The Silver Skatesedition, written by Mary Maple Dodge and published at one time by M.A. Donahue & Company from Chicago. There isn't a date, something that the M.A. Donahue & Company seems to have done quite a bit of, that is the lack of leaving any type of dating. At any rate, not finding a date has also got me interested in finding out who this company is and what they had happen to it. I would like to know any history they have.

So to those ends I find it interesting that a big www site like wikipedia does not, and I say again, does not have any information about this company, or perhaps about other old publishing houses, such as Tell Well Press out of Kansas City, Missouri. Could it be a lack of any desire by any one but me or could it be that these publishing houses are shrouded in a kind of old secret mold of identity?

Petey Piranah is a fictional character featured in various Nintendo Mario game titles such as Super Mario Sunshine, MArio Golf Toadstol Tour, and Mario Kart Double Dash. He is a large, mutated piranah plant with two large leafs for arms, that (when flapped) allow him to hover in the air for a short time. Unlike other piranah plants, he has yellow flower petals on his head, and wears a pocka-doted swimsuit. In the Nintendo tile; Super Mario Sunshine for the Nintendo Gamecube, Petey Piranah can regirgitate black paint from his mouth.

Smith Island Is a small inlet two miles southwest of Whidbey Island Naval Air Station, Whidbey Island. A lighthouse was constructed on the island in 1858. It fell into the Pacific. Originally, the Smith Island Lighthouse stood about 200 feet away from the island's western edge. The bluff began to erode, and when the bluff reached the front door in the 1950's, the lighthouse was abandoned. During the 1980's until the spring of 1998, the last part of the broken lighthouse clung precariously to the bluff and could be seen by boaters. Recently, the last of the tenacious old Smith Island Lighthouse was gone.

The DC-3 was a popular solid-body electric guitar produced by Danelectro, primarily designed for rock. It first achieved much usage in the golden days of rock and roll and rockabilly: the late 1950s, and then became popular in the "surf rock" genre of the early-mid 1960s, from groups such as The Ventures. Production was stopped on the guitars around 1969, but some famous guitarists, most notably Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, continued to play their DC-3s in concert throughout the '70s and '80s. Page, for example, memorably used it on all of his extended "White Summer" instrumentals, (which was almost, in its own way, a 10-minute tribute to the beautifullly-designed instrunment.) Then in the late 1970s, he substituted it for his Les Paul as his primary guitar. Finally in the mid-1990s the design was reisseued, and remains a popular and very affordable "retro-style" guitar.

Sword of the Samurai

Sword of the Samurai was produced by Genki and was released in 2002. It is a videogame made for the PS2 - Playstation 2. Image:SwordOfTheSamurai.jpg

Warning: This part contains certain parts of the game, and might spoil the story.

Gameplay

The game is based on Samurai - particulary on the fighting of these warriors. As you first start the game, you get to choose a face, suit and name for your character. Then you see a short video of your character walking by 2 fighting samurai. One of them loses his sword, which flies through the air, and you character catches. You then challenge a swordsman.

If you never have played this game before, this battle is unbelievably hard - practically unable to win, as you don't know the controls, and certain moves yet. But winning or losing makes your start a bit different, although it doesn't make differ a lot, as you can still join the Dojo, and go to the recruiter. (If you win this battle, you meet the recruiter, which gives you certain asignments. If you lose, you meet the headmaster of the Dojo, which asks you to join him).

Another feature of this game is, your character developes after each battle, thus getting stronger, more agile or recovers faster. After most battles, certainly at the start, you learn new moves too, which you can implant into new 'forms'.

Forms are consists of a stance, an attack and a defence, which you can fill in yourself, after learning more and more moves. Every points starts with a certain amount of points, which you can distribute among moves you want to use in this form.

Controls

As most likely you play this game on an original PS2 gamepad, the controls are: - square: To break the defence of an enemy. - round: To attack your enemy, tap this button several times and you will start an attack sequence. - cross: Continuesly pressing this button will keep you in an defensive stance, in which you can block most of the enemy's attacks. Tap this button once, at the point an enemy attacks, and you will overpower him, making you able to break his defence, and hitting him at least one time.

Skorpion Zinc mine is the 8th biggest Zinc mine in the world, producing Special High Grade (SHG) Zinc. It is in the South West of Namibia, near a town called Rosh Pinah. What makes the plant unique is that it incorporates a solvent extraction circuit to purify the solution before electrowinning. This is the biggest Zinc solvent extraction circuit in the world, and one of the biggest solvent extraction plants overall. It is owned and operated by Anglo American as part of the Anglo Base Metals division.

The Cylindro-Conoidal Bullet was invented by Captain Norton of the British 34th Regiment in 1823. It had a hollow base, so that, when fired, the bullent would expand and seal the bore. The origin of his idea is an interesting one: when in Southern India, he examined the blow pipe arrows used by the natives, and found that their base was formed of elastic locus pith, which by its expansion agianst the inner surface of the blow pipe prevented the escape of air past it.

In 1836, Mr Greener, a London gunsmith, improved on Norton's bullet by inserting a conoidal wooden plug into its base. Although both inventions were rejected by the British Ordinance Department, the idea was taken up in France, and in 1849 M.Minnie adopted Greener's design and produced the deadly "Minnie Bullet"

From the depths of Miami's underground punk scene, comes forth, The Coffin Caddies. A horror punk/pop punk band with the hunger for unique, energy driven Music. The Coffin Caddies began in the summer of 1999 when guitarist, Alexx Unscarred (N.P.A.A, RUIN, The Creeperz), and song writer/singer Rei Horror (Shattered Sunrise) decided to work together on a project based on their vision of melodic punk music with an attitude of horror influenced lyrics. During a 4-month period, the band wrote and recorded what was later to be known as their first E.P, “Mothers Day”. The CD contained 4 tracks of straightforward riffs with a layer of intense melodies and haunting vocals. Sincere Apologies, and Nightmares On Elm Street were the highlights of the recording. After the E.P, The Coffin Caddies hung up their horror hats to pursue their full-time bands.

4 years later, The Coffin Caddies has been resurrected with the help of pop punkers, AustinRight, and ZanderStein (Rip-offs, The Blabbermouths). With the new line-up the band has taken on an innovative twist to there sound, which brings a very enticing breathe of fresh air. Their live show has been described, as one of the most energetic and amazing shows ever seen. The band has toured across the U.S and combined, the members of Coffin Caddies have opened up for such national acts as The Vibrators, Gotham Road, Poison the Well, The Unseen, Defiance, The Virus, Body Count, The Queers, Michale Graves, The Independents, U.K Subs, The Briggs, etc. They recently recorded and released a new E.P.- Tribute To The Creeps (which was recorded at CS Studios in Miami Fl) which is a taste of what they have in-store for there upcoming full-length album, tentatively titled, I Dream Of Jack-O-Lanterns. The album is to be released this January. The band will then be hitting the road to promote their new album on a 3 month tour across the US and Europe. What is hiding beyond the doors? Only the shadow knows.

The Lyman Allyn Art Museum is located in New London, Connecticut. The Museum was established in 1926 by Harriet Upson Allyn who named it for her father. There are over 15,000 works in the permanent collection of the Museum, featuring a prominent collection of American art, with paintings by John Trumbull, Rembrandt Peale, Thomas Cole, Frederick Edwin Church, and Albert Bierstadt.

The collection is housed in a Neo-Classical building designed by Charles Platt and completed in 1932. It is located on a 20 acre campus.

Claire Lynch is a bluegrass singer from Hazel Green, AL. She is a native of Poughkeepsie, NY, but moved to Alabama when she was 12. She released two independent albums and one with Rebel Records with the Front Porch String Band. She released her first solo album, "Breakin' It" on Ambush Records. Her songs have been covered by Stephanie Davis, Patty Loveless, and Kathy Mattea. Claire has sung on albums by Ralph Stanley, Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Patty Loveless, Dolly Parton, John Starling, and Pam Tillis. She went on to release a total of seven albums, and her album "Moonlighter" was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Bluegrass Album.

Rafe Steinhauer; the man, the myth, the beast. A member of the historic 2002 Horace Greeley High School Class B State Championship team, Rafe Steinhauer has been struck by lightnening more than anyone in the history of man. He is known for his beast-like qualities, and his uncanny ability to provide the "late surge", whether it be late in a race, or late in a season, as he exemplified in 2002. He is a legend in his own right; he brought the well known abdominal workout to Horace Greeley, and he has some of Greeley's all time best times. He is faster than you. He currently is a member of the Princeton University Clockwork Orange Ultimate Frisbee team, but he is still a runner at heart.
