[edit] Opgezwolle
[edit] Biography
Place the initial content of your article (USE YOUR OWN WORDS) below this line. --> Opgezwolle is a Dutch rap formation. Opgezwolle started when Sticky Steez, Blaxtar, Rico and Delic met eachother on the streets of Zwolle in 1997. They freestyled all night long and learned to appreciate eachother. Blaxtar hooked the others up with "das premo", Blaxtar and das Premo left later because of the different languages that they spoke (Sticky Steez and Rico only wrote Dutch lyrics). In 1999 Opgezwolle was a real formation but they weren't on professional level yet. In 2000 they won the "Grote prijs van Nederland" and they released an album the year after. It was called "Spuugdingen op de mic". In 2003 they released their second album called "Vloeistof". The people who bought this were able to download their bonus cd called "Brandstof" for free. In January 2006 they released their thirth album called "Eigen wereld", this is the best cd so far, with smashing beats (produced by Delic) and unique lyrics.

[edit] Roles of Women in Western Literature
In traditional English literature, drawing on Judeo-Christian mythology, there were three "roles" for women, and every female character was a variation of one of them.
Eve - the temptress, the seductress. She is beautiful and alluring and ultimately the failing of man, or at least the main character.
Joan of Arc - the warrior. She is brave, inspired by God, a virgin, on a mission. She doesn't take a husband or boyfriend. She usually ends poorly (Joan of Arc was burned at the stake)
The Virgin Mary - the virgin, the mother. Completely asexual, she is nurturing and loving and innocent.

He decided to stay on in Kuwait in search of better opportunities in the developing oil rich country and was soon working for the Kuwait Oil Company. Later he joined a family business owned by the Al Gharabally family. A young Abdulla Gharabally and KTB Menon decided to venture out on their own and soon established the ASH Al Gharabally Co. in 1958. The enterprising KTB Menon, soon recognised the growing need for electricity and water in Kuwait and quickly brought in Japanese giants like Mitsubishi Heavy Industries into Kuwait to build the infrastructure. With his excellent relationships in the Kuwait Government he was soon awarded several contracts to build power plants and water desalination plants. By the mid 1960's he had already established himself as a prominent Indian businessman in Kuwait. KTB was well known for helping find employment opportunities, loans, capital etc. to several Indians in Kuwait. [edit] Illegal opcode
An Illegal Opcode, also called an Undocumented Instruction, is an instruction to a CPU that is not mentioned in any official documentation released by the CPU's designer or manufacturer, which nevertheless has an effect. Illegal opcodes were common on older CPUs designed during the 1970s or earlier, such as the MOS Technology 6502 and the Zilog Z80. They exist as a side-effect of the wiring of transistors in the CPU, and usually combine functions of the CPU that were not inteded to be combined. While most illegal instructions have useless or even highly undesirable effects (such as crashing the computer), a few might by accident do something that can be useful in certain situations. Such instructions were sometimes exploited in computer games of the 1970s and 1980s to speed up certain time-critical sections. Another common use of them was in the ongoing battle between copy protection implementations and cracking. Here, they were a form of security through obscurity, and their secrecy usually didn't last very long.
A danger associated with the use of illegal instructions was that, given the fact that the manufacturer didn't guarantee their existence and function, they might disappear or behave differently with any change of the CPU internals or any new revision of the CPU, rendering programs that use them incompatible with the newer revisions. For example, a number of older Apple II games don't work correctly on the newer Apple IIc, because the latter uses a newer CPU revision that does away with illegal opcodes.
Modern CPUs, such as the i386 and its decendants or the Power PC processor, usually don't have illegal opcodes any more. Their manufacturers guarantee that the CPU will behave in a well-defined way when it finds an unknown opcode in the instruction stream: usually, this means triggering a certain exception or fault condition. The operating system's exception or fault handler will then usually terminate the application that caused the fault. Another, less common way of handling illegal instructions is by defining them to do nothing (equivalent to the CPU's official NOP instruction).
Today, the details of these instructions are mainly of interest for exact emulation of older systems.

[edit] Storck Brewery
Storck Brewery was located in Slinger, Wisconsin - formerly Schlesingerville. Founded in the late 1800's, it went through a series of owners. Prohibition made it land upon hard times, but they got through by making ice cream and selling milk. However, like many other breweries, they still sold beer on the side and were ultimately raided by the Feds, resulting in a grusome murder of one of the workers. After prohibition, they resumed their brewing but ultimately could no longer meet demand and shut down in the early 1960's. The building now stands in ruins by the Slinger railroad tracks. There is a beautiful painting of the Storck on the side that you can still see to this day.
The remains of the Storck Brewery have since been demolished, as of Summer 2006. The site is being used as an auto graveyard, and except for a pile of bricks, there is nothing that remains but the glittering memories of what used to be the best brew haus in the State of Wisconsin.

[edit] The Sault Music Scene
The sault music scene, or TSMS as it was known by its members was a website dedicated to the youth of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada and the whole Algoma regions. It consisted of a main website whitch featured everything from MP3's of international artists along with music from local musicians and even some members of the website itself. It also had the much beloved forum, with over 3,000 users, some from as far away as europe and the lower united states. The sault music scene has been a website for 8 years, until February 1st, 2006 when it was taken down to issues that have not yet been released.
The forums were full of interesting people, including "Junkyardjim" the scenes top poster, also a moderater, and "StandXAlone" the owner of Thesaultmusicscene.com and the admin for its forum, others include, "chopscore" "thejerk" "sandeestar" "illmatic_kd" and the infamous "ICHI THE KILLA" who all had their great areas of knowledge.
TSMS will be missed dearly by many. with hopes that one day, somehow, it rises from the ashes... and is brought back to the people who cherish it so deeply.

Holy Blood Holy Bix
You may have read the article on the species known as “Bixeus Aguleus”. I have recently uncovered arcives which show of a human being of the kind. I was resaerching Kings of the world for a history lecture, this when i came across something of great historical interest. I found out that in 1647 one man made the Isle of Wight it's very own nation. It was only for a week as he was killed as soon as the ruler of England found out. But it was very interesting to find out that this King was no ordinary man. I later visited the tomb of this once King. I was given permission by his remaining family to have the tomb opened. What was inside the tomb shocked many of us. Inside where hundreds upon hundreds of boxes. In these boxes contained many gifts of dice and other such items. It was shocking when we opened the grve. The body was covered from head to foot in, what i thought to be imaginary, the metal known as mithril. What was most outstanding was the skull. It proved all my theories. This was a "Bixeus Aguleus". We could tell this was of the species as the skull was a cuboid shape. We were even more shocked when we made out the translations they said " Here lies our noble King. Our noble King of Mithril". That is all the translation we could find as the letters had wore away over the centurys. Thus proving that there is a King of Mithril and there is an heir to the throne of Mithril surviving today. Many people believe they have seen this heir but there has been no success in finding this heir.

- The isolacionist considers Galician and Portuguese as two distinct languages. Therefore it adopts differenciated spelling and writting rules, more similar to Spanish. That's the view of a majoraty of public organizations of Galicia and the view supported by the Spain central governement.
- The reintegracionist considers Galician as one more variety of the Portuguese linguistic system. For this reason it supports the using of spelling rules similar to the ones used in the portuguese speaking countries.
Broader view: The reintegracionismo is a cultural, besides linguistic attitude, made by people who believe that the galician dialects (or Galician rightfully belong to the countries of the Lusofonia and their language is in fact a variant of the world known as Portuguese. Galician therefore is part of the same linguistic diassystem, which presently as two norms, the one from Portugal and PALOPs (portuguese speaking african countries), and another from Brazil, all former collonies of Portugal. According to some of them, a third norm, a galician one should be added, the norm AGAL. Others consider that simply standard portuguese should be used, being that also the end goal of some who now defend AGAL but just as a provivional transition norm to ease it's aceptation by the public and the press. Consequently, the reintegracionists think that the NOMIGa (Normas Ortográficas e Morfolóxicas do Idioma Galego) arbitred by the RAG (Real Academia Galega) and ILG (Instituto da Lingua Galega) are innadequate, as they consider definitive the contamination by spanish of the galician accents. TThe last reform of the ILG-RAG norms, done in 2003, accepts that conception and conserves the most proeminent spanish charactheristisc namelly, the spanish Ñ, instead of the portuguese NH, the spanish LL, instead of LH and the spanish endings -ería, -ble, -ción. Also, the lexical choices tend to be in aggreement with the ones used in Spanish. As a transition norm, AGAL (Associaçom Galega da Língua) and other groups use a norm galaico-portuguese very similar to the standard portuguese: NH, LH, and the endings -aria, -vel as in portuguese but also the termination -çom, isntead of the portuguese -ção or the spanis -ción. Other groups, such as MDL (Movimento Defesa da Língua), use the AGAL and the standard portuguese norm conspicuously, while the AAG-P (Associação de Amizade Galiza-Portugal) and the IFG-P (Irmandades da Fala da Galiza e Portugal) opt for the common norm for portuguese decided in the Lisbon aggreement of 1990. They are not the only groups who use these "reintegrated" norms, being that their more wide use has come to be recognized recently as acceptable in court.
