Ed Devries is a candidate for the electoral district of Nunavut in the 2006 Canadian federal election, representing the Marijuana Party of Canada.

Ed Devries is born and raised in Iqaluit, Nunavut, he is aged 47 and a traditional healer and thearapist. Devries who has been a pot smoker for the last 37 years of his life, believes the people of Nunavut will take his message well, because it is believed that some communites 80% of the people smoke pot

Devries claims that a mast majority of the ppopulation of nunavut, mostly prominent business people, civil servants, and politicians are forced to 'live in the closet' because they're chosen recreational substance is not legal. Devries tired of being a hypocrite decided to come out of the closet and make himself a candidate for the Marijuana party of Canada. He Believes that the legalisation of Marijuana could be very economical for nunavut, since already the territory spends $27-30 million a year on cannabis products, which almost all leak to the south. He Claims if the government were to build greenhouses in Iqaluit to distribute Marijuana it would be drastically economical for the territory creating jobs for the inuit, and Increaing their profits not only for the Territory but for Canada.

Not only does he talk about the legalization of Marijouna, but Ed Devries says if brought up the issue of Bill C-38, which legalizes same-sex marriages in Canada, and bring it to a vote amongst the people in Nunavut, and use their opinion as his vote in the house of commons

The Most harm with Cannabis claims Devries, is the price people pay when caught possessing it, who himself has been arrested several times for possession.

Currently Ed Devries operates his own business in Iqaluit offering natural pain relief and pressure point therapy. He Also claims that he dosen't distribute pot through his business, he leaves his business life and social life apart.

Ian Frodsham was one of Liverpool FC's youngest players. He joined the club as an under-11, from Brookfield School in Kirkby. He signed his professional contract at 17, and played regularly with the Liverpool reserves. He died at age 19 from a spinal tumour. Liverpool Football Academy's indoor arena is named after him, and the club's young player of the year award is named the Ian Frodsham Memorial Award.

A Japanese luxury limousine introduced in the 1960's as a domestic only ultra-luxury sedan. This car is comparable with the Rolls-Royce and Toyota Century. It is mainly used by the dignitaries, and elite businessmen.

But unlike its Japanese counterpart, the Toyota Century, Nissan President saw many drastic modifications and model changes.

Many of the later Nissan President's were based on the Nissan Cedric/(Infiniti Q45) platform, but were distinctly different. There are 4 trim levels, the President, President JS, President Sovereign (long wheel base version), President Royal Limousine (split driver / passenger compartment version).

To compete with other luxury marques in Japan, the Nissan President incorporated finishing from outside Japan (in the case of using Conolly Leather).

The President of the Philippines is the hihgest executive office in the country. The president is elected through a direct election. It is also the Commander-in-Chief of the AFP. The president has a term of 6 years and can run for office in only 2 consecutive terms. When the president is in leave/sick , the vice president shall take over his/her position until the president comes back. The president can be impeached by doing high crimes like bribery,plunder, graft and corruption and murder and the like. The House of Representatives has the power to accused the president for impeachment. They will vote what they think about the case, then it will pass to the senate . When the case failed, the constitution gives the president an immunity that the president can't be impeach for 1 year.

Player of the Ganadu'r RPG. Zero is known as the fastest being in the universe, capable of surpassing the speed of light. He has grown extensively in his fighting abilities, mastering the arts of karate, ninjutsu, and energy manipulation (or 'ki') throughout the years in order to become the strongest fighter so that he may protect the weak from oppression. Zero accidentally fused with a hedgehog when he attempted to keep himself from dying by sucking up the ki from his environment after nearly being killed by one of his strongest adversaries, known as Spite, who was an evil being bent on destruction. After fusing with the hedgehog (which happened to be one similar to the famous Sonic The Hedgehog in terms of possessing an incredible speed), its speed combined with Zero's, causing him to surpass his limits and break the speed of light. To this day, he continues to train to become strong enough to keep peace throughout the universe...

An important part of the 19th century researches in anatomy was the discovery of the posterior columns of the spinal cord. In 1826 the German physiologist Karl Friedrich Burdach (1776–1847) described the fasciculus cuneatus, known as the tract of Burdach. It is the lateral portion of the posterior columns of the spinal cord, consisting of ascending fibers that terminate in the nucleus cuneatus of the medulla oblongata. The tract of Burdach comprises fibres that are shorter, but larger than those of fasciculus gracilis (tract of Friedrich Goll (1829–1903). Both tracts are extensions of the same posterior nerve roots. Some fibres ascend for a short distance then enter the grey matter close to Clarke’s (posterior vesicular) column; others pass medially to form the column of Goll and ascend to the medulla. They convey position sense and vibration sense from the limbs to the brain. Diseases of these columns (e.g. Multiple sclerosis, tabes dorsalis, tumours, or cervical myelopathy) cause loss of balance and position, tingling and numbness, in the limbs below the level of the affected part of the cord.

Burdach was born in Leipzig and died in Königsberg . He was the only child of Daniel Christian Burdach, who practised medicine in Leipzig until an early death. Karl studied Medicine in his native town obtaining his Doctorate in 1797. He went to Vienna to pursue his studies but returned to Leipzig. Burdach, who was fascinated by Schelling's natural philosophy, published widely during this period .

He became lecturer in Leipzig University1799 - 1811. Burdach is credited with the name biology to denote the study of human morphology, physiology and psychology. After unsuccessful applications, he was appointed to the Chair of anatomy, physiology and forensic medicine in Dorpat (now Tartu), Estonia in 1811. There he influenced the brilliant polymath, Karl Ernst Ritter von Baer (1792-1876), who discovered the mammalian ovum, the notochord and established the new science of comparative embryology alongside comparative anatomy. Burdach, concentrated his energies on embryology. In 1814 he was invited to Königsberg as Professor of Anatomy. There he founded the anatomical institute, and was its director until 1826. His pro-rectors were von Baer and Rathke, who later achieved distinction in embryological anatomy. In 1822 Burdach named the cingulate gyrus. Burdach's greatest contribution to science was his handbook Die Physiologie als Erfahrungswisssenschaft (Physiology as the science of experience) . While preparing this work, he establishe contacts with numerous researchers in many branch of the natural sciences. Influenced by Naturphilosophie, he made significant contributions to embryology and neuroanatomy. Die Physiologie als Erfahrungswisssenschaft was intended to appraise every factor influencing life, but the sections on movement, sensation and the activity of the soul were never published. A reflection of his broad interests is shown in a letter from Sir Henry Holland, Charles Darwin, [10 Feb 1863] cites [C. F.?] Burdach as the source of a note on atavism in alternate generations.

[edit] Interstate 40 Business (North Carolina)

Business Loop Interstate 40 (also known as Green 40) is an 18-mile (28.8-km) loop highway that serves the downtown area of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The highway connects to Interstate 40 at Clemmons, proceeds east through Winston-Salem, and returns to I-40 at Kernersville. It is known as the East-West Expressway and Downtown Expressway, and also carries U.S. Highway 158, U.S. Highway 421 (for its entire length) and North Carolina State Route 150.

This freeway was the original alignment of I-40, which ran through the city from 1957 until 1992, when it was rerouted onto a new bypass further south of Winston-Salem.

Currently, the road is undergoing a major upgrade, and there's a good chance that it might receive an Interstate designation once again. It would most likely be a spur route of I-74, though, because all even-numbered I-40 spur routes have been exhausted in North Carolina.

Another Business Loop of I-40 will be designated in Greensboro, when the interstate is shifted to the new Greensboro Urban Loop south of that city.

The Unconditionals, were formed about 18 months ago from the fragments of a previous band that had dashed itself on the rocks of musical tedium, wanting to bring indie joy back where previously long solos had reigned. With Adam on vocals and bass, Anup on guitar and Aditya on drums, they gave themselves a headlining spot at a Band Night organised by a World Challenge Team, and made a sufficient enough impact with their friends and others so as to want to carry on. They drafted in a new bassist, Max, as Adam found it difficult to sing while bassing, and set about fine tuning their own songs, a kind of sonic cross between The Libertines, Bloc Party and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the mainstay of their set, whilst also learning an array of covers to keep the crowd happy. They are recording a demo soon so that they can send it out and earn ourselves some proper gigs. They're based in that most glorious of counties, Essex, in Chelmsford, and are premiering a new set on 3rd February at a gig organised by [2] in said town, so please visit [3] for further details, and come along if you can.

Franz Rellich (September 14, 1906 – September 25, 1955) was a South-Tyrolian mathematician. He made important contributions in mathematical physics, in particular for the foundations of quantum mechanics and for the theory of partial differential equations.

Rellich was born in Tramin, South Tyrol. He studied from 1924 to 1929 at the universities of Graz and Göttingen and received his doctor's degree in 1929 under Richard Courant at Georg August University of Göttingen with the thesis about "Verallgemeinerung der Riemannschen Integrationsmethode auf Differentialgleichungen n-ter Ordnung in zwei Veränderlichen" ("Generalization of Riemann's integration method on differential equations of n-th order in two variables"). When in 1933 the great mathematical-physical tradition in Göttingen terminated with the Machtergreifung of the Nazis, among others Rellich had to leave, having taken an active position against nazism. In 1934 he became Privatdozent in Marburg, in 1942 professor in Dresden, and in 1946 director of the Mathematical Institute in Göttingen, being instrumental in its reconstruction. Jürgen Moser was one of his students. Rellich died in Göttingen.

Among his most important mathematical contributions are his works in perturbation theory of linear Operators in Hilbert space, considering the dependence of the spectral family E_\varepsilon(\lambda) of a self-adjoint operator A_\varepsilon in Hilbert space on the parameter \varepsilon. Although this problem originated from quantum mechanics and is again applied to quantum mechanics, his considerations were completely abstract.

Rellich successfully worked on many partial differential equations with degeneracies. For instance, he showed that the Monge-Ampère differential equation in the elliptic case, where it is not necessarily uniquely soluble, can have at most two solutions.

From the physical point of view, Rellich's mathematical clarification of the outgoing Sommerfeld conditions were relevant. In 1940 he proved the fact now known as Rellich's Theorem that a differential equation w' = f(z,w) has at most countably many entire solutions w(z), if f(z,w) is a linear entire function in w.

Grandmothers Footsteps is a simple children's game. One person plays the vigilant grandmother. Everyone else's role is to sneak from one point to another without the grandmother seeing them in motion. The grandmother turns away from everyone and then after a short time quickly turns back to try to catch the others moving. If a player is caught moving they are either eliminated from the game or sent back to the start point to start again.

This type of game has become a common mini-game in videogames with the grandmother taking the form of guards, searchlights, cameras, motion detectors, etc.

Video Village was a telivision game show that aired in the summer of 1960. It was essentially a life-size board game, with contestants rolling a large die and walking forward the number of spaces they rolled. There were three sections of the board: "Money Street", "Bridge Street", and "Magic Mile". On ""Money Street", contestants won the amount of money printed on the space they land on if they correctly answer a question. On "Bridge Street" contestants won the amount of money printed on the space they land on if they successfully complete a stunt. "Magic Mile" was the same as "Money Street" except the prizes were higher. "Money Street" had some special spaces that might give a player an extra turn, cost a plyer a turn, send a player to jail, or give a player a stunt to win money. A contestant had to answer a question correctly to get out of jail. "Magic Mile" also had special spaces that might give a player $100, give a player a 50% chance at a free turn, or switch the places of the two contestants. The contestant who crosses the finish line first gets a $2,000 bonus. Both contestants keep all their winnings. The show was usually hosted by Jack Narz, but was sometimes hosted by Monty Hall.

Christopher Daase holds the Chair of International Relations at the University of Munich.

He has published an enormous range of articles in the field of International Relations with a special emphasis on Security Policy. He studied in Hamburg, Freiburg, and Berlin German Studies, Philosophy, Arts and Political Sciences and was Fellow of the MacArthur Program in International Peace and Security, studied at Harvard and supported the RAND Corporation. Prior to his assignment at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich he was Senior Lecturer in International Relations, University of Kent at Canterbury at the Brussels School for International Studies.

Vector ligate cloning is a form of cloning which does not require the elimination of the original nucleus. For example, to produce Dolly the Sheep, the 1n (unfertilized) nucleus of a sheep's ovum was shocked with powerful electricity, where an autosomal nucleus from the udder of another sheep was implanted and "tricked" into fertilization, and subsequent cell division. In vector ligate cloning, specific restriction enzymes are used to splice a section of the genome of an organism. Usually, genetic engineers use a restriction enyme that will cause a "sticky end" (one that has only one strand continuing until it is severed) to form. Subsequently, any gene is spliced out of another organism (or in some cases [such as virii]) total removal of a genomic sequence. A substance known as ligase (which was discovered in the mid-1960s) is then used to "glue" the sections of genome together. Truly, this glue is just temporary chemical bonding until rescue molecules (those which repair damaged or mutated sections of the genome) can replace it. In turn, this process forms a completely new organism (in the case of virii) or a subspecies of an organism because its genome has been altered radically (implantion of a foreign genome sequence). As human cloning is severely restricted in most countries, this process is only usually performed on bacteria and virii.

Elimination is an algebraic method for solving a system of equations (finding the point at which two graphed lines intersect). This method only works for linear systems, as there is no provision for dealing with exponents or where a number is divided by any variable. You also must have the equations in the same form (e.g. only standard form, only point-slope, only slope-intercept). To convert equations to the same form, you must transform them. There are two submethods for elimination: they are elimination by addition, and elimination by subtraction. The first method, elimination by addition requires the following: the variables must line up. As the equations are stacked, the X's must line up and the Y's must line up. For instance, you must have it set up like this:

 3x +   3y = 7

-3x + -3y =8 0 + 0 =15 Therefore, the solution to this part of the equation is that the two lines are parallel, because, when the solution is simplified it yields 0=15, which is not true. You must also have it so that the variable you intend to eliminate has opposite coefficients. This is so that the variable will become 0x, which is 0. Take the system above, for instance: it is set up so that the equations' variables will totally cancel. To make opposite coefficients in a system such as this: 3x + 3y = 7 2x + 3y = 9 You must try to find the LCM of the coefficients of the variables you intend to eliminate. To force a variable to cancel, you must do this:

 2•(3x + 3y) = 2•7

-3•(2x + 3y) = 2•9 Note how one equation is multiplied by a negative number. This is such that it will yield this:

 6x + 6y  = 14

-6x + -9y= 18 Notice how, although they both maintain equivalence with the completely simplified equation, they are set up to cancel off. In the subtraction method, you must set up the system so that the coefficients of the variable you intend to cancel are the same. Note this: 3x + 3y = 7 2x + 3y = 9 Instead of making the coefficients opposite to each other, you must make them the same. Note this: 2•(3x + 3y) = 2•7 3•(2x + 3y) = 2•9 Notice that you don't have to multiply by a negative number in this instance. You will receive this: 6x + 6y = 14 6x + 9y = 18 If you evaluate these, you will receive: 0 + -3y = -4 With elimination, it is best to try not to divide, or multiply by a fraction unless you know that the solution will yield all integers. Fractions in the system will be harder to solve.

Sedale Threatt is a NBA player that was born on September 10, 1961. He Played College Hoops in West Virginia Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1983. He was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers on 1983 in the Sixth Round of the draft. He played four years for the 76ers until he was signed by the Chicago Bulls on 1987 then on 1988 he was traded to the Seattle Suppersonics. He stayed in Seattle for four years before he was sigend by the Los Angeles Lakers on 1991 to back up Magic Johnson. On 1996-1997 he played 21 games for the Houston Rockets. During the same time he played for a Greek team called Larissa. He is currently in Australia teaching kids how to become a stronger basketball player and he is teaming up for And 1 Company.

First flown in May 1958, the Phantom II originally was developed for U.S. Navy fleet defense and entered service in 1961. The USAF evaluated it (as the F-110A "Spectre") for close air support, interdiction, and counter-air operations and, in 1962, approved a USAF version. The USAF's Phantom II, designated F-4C, made its first flight on May 27, 1963. Production deliveries began in November 1963. In its air-to-ground role the F-4 can carry twice the normal bomb load of a WW II B-17. USAF F-4s also fly reconnaissance and "Wild Weasel" anti-aircraft missile suppression missions. Phantom II production ended in 1979 after over 5,000 had been built--more than 2,800 for the USAF, about 1,200 for the Navy and Marine Corps, and the rest for friendly foreign nations. In 1965 the first USAF Phantom IIs were sent to Southeast Asia (SEA). The first USAF pilot to score four combat victories with F-4s in SEA was then-Col. Robin Olds, a WW II ace. The aircraft on actual display at the USAF Museum is the one in which Col. Olds, the aircraft commander, and Lt. Stephan B. Croker, the backseat pilot, scored two of those victories in a single day, May 20, 1967.

This story was one of the first apocalyptic science fiction stories. It was written by Edgar Allan Poe in the early 1800s. The story runs as follows: two men, who have been renamed Eiros and Charmion after death, discussed the manner in which the world ended. Charmion, who had died prior to the apocalypse, was being told the circumstances. Eiros relates that a comet which had never previously been detected headed straight for earth. Poe captures the idea of the maddening of a populace prior to their destruction in his story. The people thought that the comet had just missed them (they thought they saw the coma of the comet), when the earth was suddenly destroyed along with all of the people upon it. The story is in the public domain. It may be found at the website below.
