[edit] Questionable band listings
There are some awfully minor current bands listed. I don't want to start a general inquisition, but let me start with one: what have Charlie Drown done to merit mention in an encyclopedia? I've never even heard of them heading a bill at a local club. -- Jmabel | Talk 09:06, 9 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Proposed merge
Probably a good idea, and the other has the better title. - Jmabel | Talk 00:28, 5 March 2006 (UTC)
- A merge would be good, but isn't the other title a little excessive? I would think that entertainment (and maybe even culture depending on how it's used) would fit right under "arts". I don't oppose it if it went that way, just think a more concise title would be better for the material included. Radagast83 00:31, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
Fine by me either way, too. Does someone want to do the legwork? - Jmabel | Talk 23:53, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] comedy
Seattle has a fledging stand up scene, with regular comedy going on at multiple locations. Would it be acceptable to include it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.208.86.36 (talk • contribs) 7 November 2006.
- As long as you can do it an an encyclopedically appropriate manner.
- As you may or may not know, our standards for verifiability have gone up since much of this was written, so at this point it would definitely help to have citable sources for what you write. - Jmabel | Talk 08:02, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
