Anyone want to add a "Post-Love" section, with his recent album release, etc? I'm afraid I lack the knowledge of Arthur Lee's history needed to write about it.

This article omits Lee's entire prison period; someone want to rectify that? Seems like a pretty important part of the story to me (which I don't know enough about to write, and am not about to go fishing around on the Web to piece it together).--66.52.186.158 05:35, 22 December 2005 (UTC)

This article has a lot of problems as far as I can tell. There's nothing about Lee's role in getting the Doors signed to Elektra records - he personally recommended them to label head Jac Holtzman. The author discounts all of Love's work from the fourth album (Four Sail) on; there's nothing about Lee's solo releases; there's nothing about Lee's collaboration with Hendrix, "The Everlasting First"; nothing about the many re-formations of Love throughout the '70s and '80s; nothing about Lee's lengthy jail term in the mid-90's....It sounds like it was written by a semi-well-informed fan, but this article needs more meat.

"psychedelic black man archetype"? I'm not getting offended or 'right on' but that could be worded a bit better lol.

[edit] Picture

Isn't there an image of Mr. Lee where you can see his actual face? Wencer 03:42, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Birth name

Arthur Taylor Porter seems to be the more favoured (rather than Arthur Lee Porter). Can we clear up the difference of opinion on the main article page - particularly now that Mr Lee is sadly no more ?

[edit] Citations regarding criminal records

It may be useful (especially for those with a strong position on three-strikes laws) to provide citation on the criminal record and resulting prison term.

[edit] One sided

I don't know, there are several pages on Love and Arthur Lee and they seem quite one sided and opinionated to me.
