Arthur James Williams is a Democratic member of the North Carolina General Assembly representing the state's sixth House district, including constituents in Beaufort, Hyde and Washington counties. A retiree from Washington, North Carolina, Williams is currently (2003-2004 session) serving in his first term in the state House.
